It's hard enough to get up and go to work every day as it is. But it is much harder to get moving if you don't like your boss. That can make all the difference in the way you do your work and can either make your day hard and long or short and smooth.
If you don't get along with your boss and he knows or even suspects that you don't like him, it could be very rough for you as he could find extra work for you just to get you angry enough to quit. You could try to ignore him and stay out of his way so you won't have to deal with him (Unless you work in the same office and are required to have contact with him throughout the day). If that is the case then you have two options. One is to do the best you can to please him by doing what he asks you to do as quickly as possible. Be as nice as you can be to him and see if that doesn't change things. You might be surprised as he may sense your feelings toward him are not the best.
If that doesn't work your only other alternative is to find another job. If you enjoy your work and the work place it will make it easier for you to go to work and be more productive and happier at your job. However if he is abusive or overly nasty to you without just cause, you could take him to court and sue him. It won't be the first time a boss was sued for being nasty and it sure won't be the last. But first, try every way you can to reconcile with him. It could pay off in job satisfaction.
